Virtual Lopes Lead with Character

Hosted by Dr. Crystal McCabe and Dr. Kimber Underdown, the Lopes Lead with Character virtual sessions are monthly online workshops designed to help students explore and grow in character. Each session offers a welcoming space for students to build community through meaningful discussions on a variety of character-focused topics. It’s more than a conversation; it’s an opportunity to learn what it truly means to model character in everyday life. Please note that the virtual sessions are for enrolled GCU students only. Check back regularly for updated flyers and meeting information. We look forward to connecting with you!

Sweet Virtues: No Tricks, Just Treats
October brings haunted houses, ghosts, and shadows, but virtues shine brighter than any fright! Join us for a fun and meaningful Lopes Lead with Character session where we’ll explore how courage, kindness, integrity, and hope can light the way during even the spookiest season.

Virtues We’ll Highlight:

  • Courage – Facing fears (in academics, leadership, or life’s challenges) with boldness.
  • Kindness – “No tricks, just treats” in the way we encourage and support others.
  • Integrity – Being true to yourself, even when hidden behind life’s “masks.”
  • Hope – Keeping the light on when things feel a little dark or uncertain.

👻 Come ready for conversation, connection, and a sweet reminder that leading with character is always in season!
